Be a CPS Santa

Spread joy and warmth to CPS school communities through CFF’s signature holiday gift program. CFF matches local businesses and community partners with Pre-K classrooms in CPS elementary schools. You’ll receive ‘Letters to Santa’ from students and have the opportunity to make their holiday dreams come true by purchasing gifts from their wish list. 

Here’s how it works: 

• We will match you with a school, based on the number of students you can support and any delivery preferences.
• Once matched, we’ll share student wishlists with you so you can start shopping!
• If your schedule allows, we’ll coordinate with you and the school to select a drop-off date between December 2 – 13, so you can witness the excitement firsthand!

Don’t have the capacity to shop, wrap, and deliver gifts during the busy holiday season? We can do the legwork for you! Options to sponsor gifts or a holiday party for an entire classroom or grade are available.

Compassion Fund

CFF’s Compassion Fund has been a lifeline for CPS schools, students, and families, helping them meet foundational needs during challenging times. Through the generosity of donors like you, we’ve been able to provide critical support. Your gift will help students access resources like: 

• Weather appropriate apparel: Warm winter coats, hats, boots, and more
• Hygiene essentials: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant and more
• School supplies: Materials for students and classrooms
• Direct financial relief: Assistance for families facing hardship, including job loss, homelessness, the death of a parent or caregiver, and crises like house fires

A gift of any size will be put to immediate use, addressing the most urgent needs across CPS schools.
